With over 2,000 spaces and located just a two-minute walk from the terminal building, Car Park 2 & 3 put you within easy access of the check-in desks, without having to wait for a shuttle-bus.

This is a multi-storey car park, and there is 24-hour lift access to all levels. Height restrictions apply to larger vehicles. Birmingham Airport Car Park 2 & 3 is a self-parking car park, so you can keep your keys with you and go directly to the check-in desk. Securing your parking in advance ensures that there will be a space ready and waiting for you on arrival, saving you time and making the start of your journey stress free and easy. You'll also be able to take advantage of some great online rates, too, saving you money.

Car park address:

Exit the M42 at junction 6 and join the A45, and just follow the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs to Car Park 2&3.

Getting to and from the terminal

Getting to the terminal

Once you have parked your car and have made your way down to the ground floor via the lifts provided, you will double doors in front of you, simply walk through and past the pay machines and you will see the terminal Door C to your right.

Returning to your car after your trip

Once you return back from your holiday and exit the terminal doors, you will see helpful map signage which will help aid you in getting back to your car park.

Simply follow the signage to car park 2&3 or walk towards Door C. You will see car park 3 directly in front of you from Door C and car park 2 will be on your left hand side, just before the Regus building. 

Blue badge holders

Blue badge holders can find spaces in both car park 2 and 3. Car park 2 blue badge spaces are located on level 1 next to pedestrian exit to terminal. Car park 3 blue badge spaces can be found outside of the multi storey in the surface area.

If you wish to take your blue badge on holiday with you, then you will first need to go to the NCP customer service desk in the Premium Set Down Car Park, where you’ll be given a permit to display while you’re on your break.

Please remember to bring all the details from your confirmation email, including the reference number, as this allows us to process your permit more quickly.

Motorcycle parking

There’s a dedicated parking area for motorbikes in Car Park 2. The car park is signposted on the airport’s access roads. Simply follow the signs to car park 2 and take the first left after the entry barriers. You will see a designated sheltered area for Motorcycles.

Exit the M42 at junction 6 and join the A45, and just follow the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs to Car Park 2&3.

Upon arrival

When you arrive at Car Park 2 & 3, there is no need to press for a ticket. Our ANPR cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.

If you are planning to book in advance, please ensure you provide us with the correct registration number at the point of booking. If you have made a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the arrivals procedure.

Should you require any help, please press the assistance button which is located on the entrance column and a member of our customer service team will be happy to assist you.

Once you’ve parked, you’re free to get to the check-in desks and start your holiday, knowing that your vehicle is being looked after by our professional parking team.

Leaving the car park

Once you’re back from your break, leave the terminal building, and head back to the car park.

If you have a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the returns procedure.

We have two pay machines in the car park where you can pay by card. Please note, all our pay machines are now cashless. The pay machines are located within the car park and in the exit lane. Please have your registration number ready to enter.

Paying before you reach the exit speeds up the process, so you can drive to the exit barrier, which will raise automatically, and get ahead with your journey.

If you wish to pay in the exit lane, please make sure you choose the correct lane for payment. Once you have made the payment, the barrier will raise automatically to allow exit.
