The Shard / Shangri-La hotel
As the tallest building in London, the Shard sits at 306m tall and provides the perfect viewing platform for panoramas over the city and the River Thames. Designed by architect Renzo Piano to evoke a shard of glass sitting in the land, the Shard was completed in 2012. Park near the Shard to explore its 72 floors, which are home to a luxury 5-star hotel, the Shangri-La and several award-winning restaurants including a cocktail bar on the 57th floor with incredible views over London.
Borough Market
Foodies will adore everything about Borough Market, which is just around the corner from the London Bridge car park. As one of the largest and oldest markets in London, there is a whole variety of food stalls selling everything from freshly made bread to London grown fresh produce as well as hot food stands for quick and delicious lunches. Park at NCP London Bridge car park and you won't have far to carry all those bags of delicious goodies, either.
London Bridge
London Bridge as a neighbourhood has seen many changes over the last decade, with the huge expansion of modern buildings and the railway network that connects it to many parts of the country. The bridge, which was built in 1973, connects Southwark to Temple on the other side of the river and has some spectacular views over the River Thames. The area is a popular tourist spot with excellent views of the Thames, but also has a number of shops, restaurants, bars and company offices.
